Inorganic-induced active medical dressing is expected to promote diabetic ulcer wound repair

The incidence of diabetic skin ulcers is as high as 15%. Due to chronic hyperglycemia environment for a long time, the ulcer wound is easy to be infected, resulting in its failure to heal in time, and easy to form wet gangrene and amputation.

The results showed that the wound healing time of the inorganic induced active medical dressing group was advanced, and there was no obvious bleeding, adhesion, scab or local allergy in the healing process, forming a stable stent and promoting scar free healing of the wound.

The experimental results indirectly suggested that the inorganic induced active medical dressing could increase the collagen content and reduce the proportion of collagen, which was beneficial to ulcer healing, reduce the degree of scar hyperplasia, and improve the healing quality of diabetic ulcer. In summary, the inorganic induced active medical dressing can accelerate the healing speed and improve the healing quality of diabetic ulcer, and its mechanism may be through promoting the proliferation of collagen and fibroblast in the damaged site, anti-infection, and improving the microenvironment of wound healing, so as to play a role.
